Ulquiorra Cifer
Espada / Cuatro (Fourth)Ulquiorra Cifer is the Cuatro Espada, a nihilistic being who believes in nothingness. He is pale, stoic, and emotionless, with emerald-green eyes and a bat-like Rezurrección, Murciélago. He was sent to observe Orihime in the human world and developed a troubled curiosity about human emotion. His Segunda Etapa (second release) was a power never shown by any other Arrancar, making him the true fourth strongest. His final battle with Ichigo was a masterpiece of tragedy: after being torn apart by Vasto Lorde Ichigo, Ulquiorra's final act was to ask Orihime if he was afraid of darkness — and he disintegrated into ash after touching her hand, confused by the heart he claimed not to have.
