Soken Ishida

Quincy Elder / Grandfather

Soken Ishida was Uryu's grandfather and the father of Ryuken. He was a proud Quincy who taught Uryu everything. He was persecuted and killed indirectly by the Shinigami Research Institute (Mayuri). He is the source of Uryu's strong moral compass and warrior pride.
