Masaki Kurosaki

Masaki Kurosaki is Ichigo's mother, a pure-blood Quincy who was saved by Isshin from a Hollow attack linked to Aizen. She and Isshin fell in love, and she forfeited her Quincy powers (via the Hōgyoku) to survive. She was killed when Ichigo was nine, drawn to a river by a Hollow she couldn't see. Her love and sacrifice are Ichigo's deepest emotional wound and his source of strength.
