Exiled from Soul Society 100 years ago, he runs a small convenience store in Karakura Town while secretly orchestrating plans to protect the world. His Zanpakutō, Benihime, releases as a cane-sword that can cut, create energy shields, and manipulate matter. Urahara is perpetually smiling, wears a straw hat and geta sandals, and speaks in riddles. His Bankai, Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame, is a reality-warping ability that can dismantle and restructure anything within its range. He single-handedly planned the defense against Aizen, trained Ichigo, and helped defeat Askin Nakk Le Vaar in TYBW. Urahara is the smartest man in Bleach.
