Shinigami Captain / Punch VisoredKensei Muguruma is the former Captain of the 9th Division and current Captain in TYBW. His Zanpakutō, Tachikaze, creates shockwaves with every swing. His Bankai, Tekken Tachikaze, integrates wind with his fists for explosive hand-to-hand combat. Kensei is serious, direct, and deeply disciplined. His lieutenant Hisagi (now Captain) trained under him. Kensei lost his Bankai to the Sternritter and was killed by Mask De Masculine, but later revived.
